TRB conducted a webinar on September 23, 2014, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm ET that covered the practitioners' guide portion of
NCHRP Report 750: Strategic Issues Facing Transportation, Volume 2: Climate Change, Extreme Weather Events, and the Highway System: Practitioner’s Guide and Research Report. This webinar provided a brief overview of climate modeling and introduced a diagnostic framework for conducting adaptation planning for transportation. Webinar presenters discussed potential impacts of different climate stressors, the potential impacts of climate change on maintenance and operations, and the types of strategies available to planners and engineers.

Professional Development Hour Information
A certificate for 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) will be provided to Professional Engineers (PEs) who register and attend the webinar as an individual. For groups, only the person that registers and attends the session will receive a PDH certificate.
