TRB Webinar: Chemical Treatments on Low-Volume Roads

Chemical treatments are a cost-effective way of improving unpaved road performance. TRB will host a webinar on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that will provide guidance for road agencies looking to use chemical treatments in their unpaved road management programs. The presenter will explain the benefits of using a chemical treatment program in an unpaved road management strategy. He will also demonstrate a web-based tool to select the most appropriate chemical treatment for a given set of circumstances, including materials, traffic, climate, and road geometry.

The first 60 minutes of the webinar will be for presentations and the final 30 minutes will be reserved for audience questions.

Professional engineers (PEs) who register and attend the entire webinar as an individual will be awarded 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs). TRB’s webinar program awards PDH credits only to the registered individual, and not to other members of a group that view the webinar together.
