TRB is cosponsoring the High-Speed and Intercity Passenger Rail Systems and Strategies Joint Rail Conference on April 26-29, 2010, in Urbana, Illinois.  With a focus on high-speed rail and other forms of developing intercity passenger rail, the conference is expected to address related to railroad civil, mechanical, electrical and systems engineering; as well rail planning, design, financing, operations, and management.
