Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast Contract Terms for the FAA
The U.S. Department of Transportation Office of the Inspector General has released a report that summarizes the results of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s implementation of the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) system. ADS-B is a foundational component of FAA’s Next Generation Air Transportation System, and FAA envisions ADS-B eventually becoming its principal means of aircraft surveillance.
