Review of DOT’s Information Security
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)’s Office of the Inspector General has released a report that determines the effectiveness of DOT’s information security program and practices in five function areas: identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover. This report was conducted due to a requirement set forth in the Federal Security Management Act, which mandates annual reviews of agencies’ information security programs.
