Review of DOT’s Financial Submissions
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)’s Office of the Inspector General has released a report that assesses the DOT’s use of the government-wide financial data standards established by the Digital Accountability and Transparency (DATA) Act of 2014. The DATA Act requires that federal agencies maintain reliable data on spending and financial assistance. The Department of the Treasury makes this data available to the public at
