To accelerate automated vehicle (AV) technology deployment, practitioners must set, measure, and monitor key AV safety and performance goals. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern that explored how to set and measure these goals to ensure public safety. Presenters shared current practices, desribed the progress already made with setting goals for AV technologies, and identified obstacles that still remain to be solved.
This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Research Innovation Implementation.
The slides are available. Contact Reggie Gillum for a copy of the recorded webinar.
