r_arrowAttend the Annual Meeting
The TRB Annual Meeting, held every January in Washington, D.C., covers all transportation modes and attracts policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academia. The Annual Meeting, which attracts more than 10,000 attendees each year from throughout the United States and from nearly 70 countries, is perhaps the single largest gathering of transportation practitioners and researchers in the world.

TRB’s calendar includes a listing of all upcoming transportation research-related conferences that are sponsored or cosponsored by TRB.  You can view the calendar by date or browse it by mode and subject area.

TRB's Transportation Research E-Newsletter is a free weekly electronic service designed to keep individuals up-to-date on TRB activities and to highlight selected transportation research-related activities taking place at the federal and state levels, and within the academic and international transportation communities.  More than 40,000 people from around the world receive the E-Newsletter.

The TRB Webinar series provides transportation professionals a conference-like atmosphere to share and receive information, without the need to leave their own offices. TRB uses webinars to share information about upcoming TRB reports, previous sessions from the Annual Meeting, and topics requested by TRB committees. Each year, TRB holds approximately 40 webinars that average approximately 250 attendees per session.
r_arrowRSS (Really Simple Syndication)
TRB adds about 40 new piece of content to its website each week.  Throught TRB's RSS feeds, you can receive notices as soon as items are added to the site.  Feeds are available that highlight releases of new publications, requests for proposals, and research in progress.  You can also choose to receive notices on other general transportation research related news items by more than 35 different subject areas.

TRB's bimonthly magazine features timely articles on innovative and state-of-the-art research and practice in all modes of transportation. Also published are brief news items of interest to the transportation community, research pays off articles, profiles of transportation professionals, workshop and conference announcements, new book notices, news of TRB activities, and the TRB Annual Report.

To fulfill one of its oldest missions, the Transportation Research Board (TRB) disseminates transportation research results and technology information through an extensive array of timely publications. TRB has gained national and international prominence for its books and reports assessing the state of the art or practice in specific areas of transportation, presenting the results of transportation research, addressing major national transportation policy issues, and identifying research needs. On average, TRB produces more than 180 publications per year that are available on an annual subscription basis.
