Active Travel Co-Benefits of Travel Demand Management Policies that Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions
The Mineta Transportation Institute at San Jose State University has released a report that explores the use of new generation of travel models to produce active travel data needed to help estimate health outcomes for regional land use and transport plans. The report also examines the potential future magnitude of change in active travel possible from land use, transit, and distance-based vehicle pricing policies for California and its five major regions.
