TRB's Bridge Data Analysis Working Group ("the Bridge DAWG") will conduct a forum on bridge performance data analysis in conjunction with the 5th International Symposium on Life-Cycle Civil Engineering
on October 16-19, 2016, in Delft, The Netherlands.
Bridge DAWG forums are sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration of the U.S. Department of Transportation, and are conducted by the Transportation Research Board, part of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Forums are held annually in Washington, D.C., and at the venues of major international conferences of interest to the highway bridge community. All attendees of IALCCE 2016 are welcome to attend this forum and present briefings. There is no additional registration requirement or fee to attend this forum.
Bridge DAWG forums foster international discussions about methods of collection and analyses of bridge performance data. Presentations address the technical interests of professionals engaged in highway research and engineering design, maintenance, and rehabilitation. Presentations focus on ongoing investigations concerning new techniques for extracting and analyzing data, and preliminary results of recent applications of these techniques. Investigations seeking insights into the cause-and-effect relationships linking structural response to distress are especially popular.
For additional information about the DAWG forum, contact Dr. A. Robert Raab, TRB Senior Program Officer, at RRaab@nas.edu.
