TRB is cosponsoring a symposium on Climate Change and Ships: Increased Energy Efficiency on February 16-17, 2010, in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. The symposium is designed to explore greenhouse gases and the energy efficiency design index, technical and operations measures to increase energy efficiency, and maritime economics and market-based mechanisms.
