TRB’s Marine Board will hold its 2011 fall meeting on September 7-9, 2011, in Anchorage, Alaska. The meeting theme is "Maritime Commerce in a Changing Arctic." Open sessions on September 7-8 will address international initiatives in the Arctic and the U.S. role; offshore oil and gas development in the U.S. Arctic; commercial shipping and tourism in the Arctic; and initiatives relating to Arctic charting, navigation aids, and icebreaking.

The final day of the meeting will be a closed administrative oversight meeting for Marine Board members and staff.
