Transit Noise and Vibration Impact Assessment: 2006 Second Edition
The U.S. Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has released a manual that includes basic concepts, methods, and procedures for documenting the extent and severity of noise and vibration impacts from transit projects. The manual examines how technical information should be presented in the FTA environmental documents. The FTA recommends use of the manual for preparers of environmental impact assessments, and others who need a fuller understanding of the methods used by consultants in noise and vibration studies.
