TRB held its 34th Annual Summer Ports, Waterways, Freight, and International Conference in Irvine, California, on May 4-6, 2009.  The conference focused on critical research issues in freight and marine transportation; and presentations examined various perspectives, including environmental and regulatory, warehousing and motor carrier, railroad, inland waterways, and more.  Links to selected presentations made during the meeting are available online.
