Early-Age Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Properties for Overlays
The Upper Great Plains Institute at North Dakota State University has released a report that analyzes the age-dependent changes in flexural and fracture properties of fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC) used in the design of thin overlay pavements. FRC has the potential to improve performance over unreinforced plain concrete with regards to crack initiation and crack propagation.
