Analysis Procedures for Evaluating Superheavy Load Movement on Flexible Pavements, Volume I: Final Report
The U.S. Federal Highway Administration has released a report that addresses critical factors associated with superheavy load (SHL) movement on flexible pavements. SHL hauling units are much larger in size and weight compared to standard trucks, so they often require specialized trailers and components with nonstandard spacing between the tires and axles. This is the final report that is accompanied by nine appendices, available separately.
