Estimating Walking and Bicycling at the State Level
The Transportation Research and Education Center at Portland State University has released a report that discusses three approaches to estimating bicycle and pedestrian miles traveled at the state level. This paper identifies the advantages and disadvantages of each, and applies them to Washington State. The report is available for no fee after logging onto the site.
