Datasets now in TRID
Datasets are now indexed and easy to find in TRID! Datasets are organized collections of data produced by performed research in a fixed period of time. Datasets described in TRID frequently support a DOT-funded technical report, but can also describe a "standalone" dataset with no accompanying report (
see example).
- From the TRID home page, select add additional filters under the Search by keyword box
- Using the Results Type dropdown menu, select Datasets
- Populate as many fields as necessary to focus your search, and click Apply
Dataset results are automatically included in all searches when no Result Type focus is selected. Consult the
Searching TRID for Datasets fact sheet for a concise summary of information about Datasets in TRID. Also, please consult the
TRID Online Help for more detailed information about all the Result Type selections available. All TRID
Training & Documentation Materials are available online.
This new feature allows TRIS to index datasets as unique outputs from projects with links to both
ROSA P and the site where the dataset is published, while also referencing and linking to the final report supported by the dataset if appropriate.
