TRB is accepting papers for consideration as part of the program for the TRB 86th Annual Meeting, January 21-25, 2007, in Washington, D.C. Full paper submissions are due by August 1, 2006, and must be submitted via TRB's Paper Submission website. Paper reviews are due by September 15.

Solicited and unsolicited papers for presentation and/or publication as part of the TRB 86th Annual Meeting must be submitted directly to TRB via the online paper submission website by August 1, 2006. Papers addressing any relevant aspect of transportation research will be considered. However, some TRB Technical Activities (Division A) committees are soliciting papers in specific subject areas. Prospective authors are encouraged to review committee Calls for Papers and to consult the Information for Authors page for guidance on preparing their manuscripts.

Authors planning to submit papers will receive password-controlled, limited web access to individual papers published in the Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board (TRR Journal) since 1996. Access will be provided after submission of an abstract for a paper via the paper submission website. This feature will allow authors access to some of the latest research in their areas of interest. Information on the citation format for TRR Journal papers is included in the Information for Authors.

All papers submitted to TRB for presentation at the Annual Meeting and/or publication in the TRR series are peer-reviewed. Authors of submitted papers will be notified of the acceptance or non-acceptance of their papers by late October 2006.
