Toward Greater Understanding of the Relationship between Public Perceptions of Speed, Speed Laws, and Safety
The Center for Transportation Studies at the University of Minnesota has released a report that determines whether there is a relationship between state speed laws, roadway fatality rates, and public perceptions of speed. The goal of this report is to identify whether public choice has an effect on the adoption of more consistent speed laws and speed enforcement across the United States.
