2021 TRB Annual Meeting: Spotlight Sessions About Equity in Transportation

At TRB's 100th Annual Meeting in January 2021, more than 20 Spotlight Sessions will focus on this year's theme, "Launching a New Century of Mobility and Quality of Life." Specific sessions about equity in transportation will focus on:

• women and gender in transportation,
• mobility for older adults and people with disabilities,
• exploring the impacts of overpolicing BIPOC mobility in the U.S.,
• Native American Transportation, and
• transportation as a social determinant of health.

Other Spotlight Sessions will focus on equity and other multimodal issues.

Registration is required for all Annual Meeting attendees.

The 100th Annual Meeting, fully virtual in January 2021, covers all transportation modes, with more than 3,500 presentations in more than 400 sessions addressing topics of interest to all attendees, including policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. The meeting, which draws attendees from throughout the United States and from more than 80 countries, is the single largest gathering of transportation practitioners and researchers in the world.
