The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has released a report that provides estimates for U.S. carbon dioxide emissions from different energy sources. These estimates are considered to be preliminary. More detailed estimates of greenhouse gas emissions from all sources, energy and non-energy, will appear in the DOE’s Emissions of Greenhouse Gases in the United States, 2005 report, which is scheduled to be released in November 2006.
