Effects of Climate Change on Energy Production and Use in the United States
The U.S. Climate Change Science Program (CCSP) has released a report that explores the potential effects of climate change on energy production and use in the United States and identifies where research could potentially reduce uncertainties about impacts. The CCSP was established by President Bush in 2002 to integrate federal research on global environmental change in 13 federal agencies and to provide the nation with science-based knowledge to manage the risks and opportunities of change in the climate and related environmental systems.
