TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2354 contains 13 papers that discuss estimation bias and efficiency for pseudopanel data in travel demand analysis; quantification of key errors in household travel surveys; new measures for detection of data quality risks in mobility panel surveys; and noncoverage errors in travel surveys due to mobile phone–only households.

This TRR also examines application of geographic perturbation methods to residential locations in the Oregon household activity survey; effects of question type on transit rider expressions of policy preferences; development of a smartphone-based travel survey; a method to gather multimodal trip generation data in smart-growth areas; and longitudinal GPS travel data and breach of privacy.
