Climate Change 2014: Mitigation of Climate Change
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC’s) Working Group III has released a report designed to provide a comprehensive assessment of all relevant options for mitigating climate change through limiting or preventing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as activities that remove them from the atmosphere.
IPCC was established by the United Nations Environment Programme and the World Meteorological Organization in 1988 to “provide the world with a clear scientific view on the current state of knowledge in climate change and its potential environmental and socio-economic impacts.”
