The E-Bike Potential: Estimating the Effect of E-Bikes on Person Miles Travelled and Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Portland State University has released a report that explores the effect electronic bikes may have on person miles traveled (PMT) and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). This report creates models for PMT and GHG in Portland, Oregon, which was selected for analysis because of the availability of regional transportation data and the city’s extensive bike network. The report is available for no fee after logging onto the site.
