TRB Symposium on Long-Term Performance of Geotechnical Infrastructure

TRB is sponsoring a symposium on Long-Term Performance of Geotechnical Infrastructure on September 28, 2009, in Buffalo, NY.  The symposium will explore geotechnical innovation and sustainability, the design life of pipes and horizontal drains in acid-rich areas, the long-term performance of earth reinforcements and pile-supported interstate bridges, the agining interstate slopes and rockfall hazard inventories, and more.  The event will take place in conjunction with the 60th Annual Highway Geology Symposium.
