TRB conducted a webinar on March 18, 2015, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm ET that covered
NCHRP Report 782: Proposed Guideline for Reliability-Based Bridge Inspection Practices, which presents a methodology to develop a risk-based approach for determining the bridge inspection interval according to the requirements in Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21).
Webinar presenters summarized risk-based methods for bridge inspection planning for engineers involved in bridge inspection programs across the United States. Presenters provided an overview of the technology developed through the research as well as the results of implementation testing used to verify the research results.
A certificate for two Professional Development Hours (PDHs) will be provided to attendees who register and attend the webinar as an individual. Contact Reggie Gillum at
RGillum@nas.edu for instructions on receiving a copy of the recorded webinar.
