TRB Webinar: Visualizing Effects of COVID-19 on Transportation: A One-Year Retrospective

The worldwide coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has profoundly affected the health and economies of the United States and the world. TRB will host a webinar on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that will delve into the pandemic’s effect on transportation. Presenters will discuss visualizations of where these impacts have been especially notable, including the drastic reduction in road and air traffic and in public transit ridership during early days of the pandemic. They will provide perspectives from the local, state, and international levels.

This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Visualization in Transportation.

The first 60 minutes of the webinar will be for presentations and the final 30 minutes will be reserved for audience questions.

Professional Development Hour Information

Professional engineers (PEs) who register and attend the entire webinar as an individual will be awarded 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs). TRB’s webinar program awards PDH credits only to the registered individual, and not to other members of a group that view the webinar together. To be eligible for the credits, individuals must remain signed in for the entire webinar, including for any question and answer session following the presentations.
