Marine Board 2009 Fall Meeting Presentations

The Marine Board held its 2009 Fall Meeting on November 16-17, 2009, in Washington, DC. Issues covered at the meeting included expanded commercial shipping activity in the Arctic, port resiliency, offshore energy installations, the economic significance of navigation, ship propulsion loss, hazardous cargoes on water, maritime incident reporting systems, the role of visual aids to navigation in an e-navigation environment, and the marine highway.
