Evaluation of Adaptive Signal Control Technology – Volume 2: Comparison of Base Conditions to First Year After Implementation
The Illinois Center for Transportation at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has released a report that analyzes data from six intersections in Illinois that deployed adaptive signal technology. This report evaluates the volume, delay, and queue length data from before deployment to one year after implementation in order to understand the system’s contribution to safety and operational efficiency.
