Mechanistic-Empirical (M-E) Design Implementation & Monitoring for Flexible Pavements: 2018 Project Summary
The Illinois Center for Transportation at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has released a report that identifies special topics and implementations of Mechanistic-Empirical (M-E)-based flexible pavement design concepts and procedures. M-E concepts were previously developed and updated by the Illinois Department of Transportation, and this report summarizes the major project activities and accomplishments using these concepts in Illinois.
