TRB Webinar: Centering Seams – Maintaining Centerline Joints in Asphalt Pavements

Deteriorating centerline joints are a maintenance challenge for many highway agencies. TRB hosted a webinar on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern to explore centerline joint practices used by transportation agencies. Presenters identified ways to reduce the need for maintenance and improve the maintenance activity itself. Presenters also discussed innovative practices to improve centerline joint performance and maintenance.
