Net Effects of Gasoline Price Changes on Transit Ridership in U.S. Urban Areas
The Mineta Transportation Institute at San Jose State University has released a report that analyzes the effect of gasoline prices on bus, light rail, heavy rail, and commuter rail ridership by using transit ridership data and gasoline prices from ten U.S. urbanized areas.
