Attendee Guides

How to get the Most out of the TRB Annual Meeting - This guide describes the many opportunities available at the TRB Annual Meeting to network, increase professional expertise, interact with recognized professionals throughout the industry, and get involved in committee activities.

Program Participant Index - This list of program participants in the TRB 90th Annual Meeting serves as a companion document to the printed Final Program. The list is current as of January 12, 2011. For the most up-to-date information, please refer to the Interactive Program.  Numbers after the names refer to sessions; alphanumeric codes indicate chairs or presenters of papers in a committee or subcommittee meeting.  Search for Program Presenters using the alphabetical index at the top of the document, the search function, or the document’s bookmarks to find a name and the session, meeting, or event in which the participant is featured.

Continuing Education Credits
Nationally recognized Professional Development Hours (PDHs) may be claimed for attending the TRB Annual Meeting. Each hour of participation earns one (1) PDH; attendees must maintain their own records of attendance. TRB will confirm an individual’s registration at the request of the licensing or certifying agency. A credit statement form for PDHs will be provided. Note that, at this time, neither TRB nor the 2011 Annual Meeting is certified with the New York or Florida state licensing boards. TRB will continue to work with state boards to become an approved provider of their continuing education credits.

The American Planning Association [APA] program to certify Continuing Maintenance [CM] credits for retaining American Institute of Certified Planners certification [AICP] will be offered at the 2011 TRB Annual Meeting. The sessions approved for CM credits will be noted in both the Annual Meeting Interactive Program and the printed Final Program. A Certification Maintenance Credit form for tracking sessions attended during the Annual Meeting will be provided.
