The Transportation Research Board (TRB) 90th Annual Meeting was held in Washington, D.C., at the Marriott Wardman Park, Omni Shoreham, and Washington Hilton hotels. The information-packed program attracted 10,900 transportation professionals from around the world to Washington, D.C.

The TRB Annual Meeting program covers all transportation modes, with more than 4,000 presentations in nearly 650 sessions and workshops addressing topics of interest to all attendees—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. More than 85 sessions and workshops will address the spotlight theme for 2011: Transportation, Livability, and Economic Development in a Changing World.

TRB Annual Meeting Compendium of Papers goes Online!

For more than 10 years, the Compendium of Papers was distributed to TRB Annual Meeting attendees as a compact disc. The 2011 Annual Meeting marks the first time that the Compendium is distributed as part of TRB Annual Meeting Online offering web-access to ALL information collected from the TRB 90th Annual Meeting.

The Interactive Program is available to assist you in deciding which sessions to attend during the TRB 90th Annual Meeting. You can use the Interactive Program to conduct searches by session title, paper title, keywords, author, and subject area.
To view the full Annual Meeting preliminary program click on the “Search” button without selecting any Search Criteria.  When the list of events appears, click on the “Time” header to sort chronologically. Meeting registration enables enhanced features of the Interactive Program such as viewing the meeting room locations.  "No Fee" workshop attendees are required to register for the TRB Annual Meeting.

Program Participant Index - This list of program participants in the TRB 90th Annual Meeting serves as a companion document to the printed Final Program. The list is current as of January 12, 2011. For the most up-to-date information, please refer to the Interactive Program.  Numbers after the names refer to sessions; alphanumeric codes indicate chairs or presenters of papers in a committee or subcommittee meeting.  Search for Program Presenters using the alphabetical index at the top of the document, the search function, or the document’s bookmarks to find a name and the session, meeting, or event in which the participant is featured.

One state DOT has saved millions of dollars by implementing information gathered at the past Annual Meetings. Learn more.
