NATMEC 2006 will provide a forum for exchange and dissemination of information related to the collection, management, and use of monitored traffic data in all applications. Attendees will have the opportunity to network among peers, industry representatives, and vendors of equipment and software. This interaction may provide insights into improvements in current technologies, emerging technologies for data collection, improvements in tools or methods, and more efficient ways of managing, distributing, and using monitored traffic data. The conference will seek to establish new levels of cooperation and integration among those responsible for various aspects of traffic data use.
Conference sessions will focus on items such as:
- Technologies for Data Collection
- Managing, Quality Assuring, and Reporting Data
- Integrating Traditional and Operational Traffic Data Programs
- Data Availability and Use in Decision and Policy Making
- Improving your Traffic Data Programs
- On going and future applied research and applications
If you are a state or regional traffic data collector, traffic data user, manager of data programs, or vendor, we welcome your input at NATMEC 2006. NATMEC is the premier venue for sharing experiences for effectively monitoring traffic flow, whether it is for operational decision-making, planning, or program management.
