The Transportation Research Board (TRB) is pleased to invite you to attend the 10th International Conference on Low-Volume Roads, which will be held in Lake Buena Vista (Orlando), Florida, on July 24–27, 2011.

The conference, held every four years, will feature the latest information about low-volume road management, design, construction, safety, maintenance, and many other important related topics.

Please enter your contact information in the online survey at http://www.trb.org/conferences/2011/10LVR/Survey to receive the Preliminary Conference Program and registration materials.

Conference Format
Registration will open on Sunday, July 24, 2011. Pre-conference workshops will be offered on Sunday. The conference will begin with a general session on Monday morning, July 25. This will be followed by a series of concurrent sessions – typically three or four – organized according to topical interest.

Topical sessions will continue on Tuesday morning, July 26. Participants will go on a half-day field trip on Tuesday afternoon to study and observe low-volume road issues. The field trip will afford an excellent opportunity for information exchange among peers.

Topical sessions will continue on Wednesday, July 28, with a general session at the end of the afternoon.

Social events will include a gala reception on Sunday evening, and a Monday luncheon featuring presentation of the Yoder Award for the outstanding paper. The conference will close with a traditional banquet dinner on Wednesday evening.

Who Should Attend?
Those who administer, plan, design, build, or maintain low-volume roads will learn new and innovative ways of managing low-volume road systems.

The conference is organized for practitioners worldwide in local, state, and federal agencies; universities; private firms; and international organizations. We will discuss case histories, research results, and innovative practices. Previous conferences have typically attracted 300 or so transportation professionals from all continents.
