Emissions of Greenhouse Gases in the United States 2005
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has released its annual report that inventories the anthropogenic (human-caused) greenhouse gases in the United States. The report presents the Energy Information Administration’s latest estimates of emissions for carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and other greenhouse gases. According to the DOE, most of the report’s estimates are based on activity data and applied emissions factors and not on measured or metered emissions.
