The University of California–Davis Institute of Transportation Studies has posted presentations associated with the August 23-26, 2005, Tenth Biennial Conference on Transportation Energy and Environmental Policy. The conference examined reducing motorized travel, shifting to less energy-intensive modes, and changing fuels and propulsion technologies as potential strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from transportation. The conference was organized under the auspices of TRB’s Energy, Alternative Fuels, and Sustainable Transportation Committees.
