TRB is sponsoring Meeting State and Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO) Information Needs in a Constrained Fiscal Environment: Joint Midyear Meeting for the Transportation Research Board (TRB) and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Committees on June 10-12, 2013, in Washington, D.C.

This unique TRB conference will blend the traditional midyear business meetings of more than a dozen standing committees with a focus addressing the transportation challenge of doing more – and better – with less.

The conference will review guideposts for navigating an era of constrained resources, explore the state of performance measurement mandates in the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act, and explore future opportunities for TRB committees and the professional as a means to enhance mobility in a constrained fiscal environment.
