Announcing the SHRP2 Tuesdays Webinar Series
Mark your calendar now to attend a "SHRP2 Tuesdays" webinar beginning May 7, 2012. Every other Tuesday, TRB will host a webinar that will highlight resources that the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) are making available to implement the research products developed by the second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2).
Each webinar will feature a technical overview of a SHRP 2 product and its benefits as well as a presentation by FHWA and AASHTO representatives on current implementation opportunities. In addition, each webinar will include ample time for interaction with all the webinar’s panelists. Users' experience will also be showcased in those instances when a product has already been pilot tested or implemented.
SHRP 2 product implementation opportunities identified by FHWA and AASHTO during the SHRP2 Tuesdays are designed to provide the transportation community with the tools needed to help reduce congestion, expedite construction, and improve safety.
In addition, Professional Development Hours (PDH) and/or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Continuing Maintenance credits will be available to attendees of select webinars in the series. Please view each webinar registration page to determine if a webinar is providing PDH or AICP credits.
