Communicating Transportation, Energy, and Climate Change Concepts to the Public: TRB Contest Identifies Exemplary Efforts

A special feature article in the September-October 2009 issue of the TR News highlights the TRB Planning and Environment Group’s recent annual competition to recognize fresh and creative methods of communicating technical transportation issues and concepts to the public. The focus of the competition was energy and climate change in transportation. The top entries ranged from a book to multimedia presentations and interactive online games.
