The Hiawatha Line: Impacts on Land Use and Residential Housing Value
The Center for Transportation Studies at the University of Minnesota has released a report that explores the economic impacts resulting from the construction of the first major investment in a Twin Cities transitway system. In particular, the report examines the impacts on property values by proximity to the line; land-use changes that have occurred around the line’s transit stations; and changes in the level of hosing investment within the corridor.
