Transit: Bus, Rural Public Transportation, and Paratransit
TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1884 examines the strategic implementation of customer-driven performance measures in Chicago, the impact of traffic congestion on bus travel time in northern New Jersey, state strategies for implementation of computer-assisted scheduling and dispatching systems for paratransit, and the analysis of delays caused by midblock jeepney stops.
Individual TRR Journals, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes. Abstracts of papers that make up this TRR are available through TRB's Publication Index. In the Series field type "Record & 1884" (without the quotation marks). After reviewing the abstracts, you will need to use your browser's "back" button to return to this screen in order to purchase the publication.
TRR Journals may also be purchased on an annual subscription basis. Each year, TRB publishes approximately 40 volumes of the TRR Journal, containing more than 650 papers grouped by subject.
