Construction 2005
TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 1907 assesses topics in construction management, quality assurance, bridges and structures, portland cement concrete pavement, and hot-mix asphalt pavement. Specific subjects include improving construction communication; the computerized system for efficient scheduling of highway construction; development of the Florida Department of Transportation’s percent-within-limits hot-mix asphalt specification; design and construction of a full-width, full-depth, precast concrete deck slab on a steel girder bridge; changing the shape and location of pavement load transfer devices; and the initial ride quality of hot-mix asphalt pavements.
Individual TRR Journals, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes. Abstracts of papers that make up this TRR are available through TRB's Publication Index. In the Series field type "Record & 1907" (without the quotation marks). After reviewing the abstracts, you will need to use your browser's "back" button to return to this screen in order to purchase the publication.
TRR Journals may also be purchased on an annual subscription basis. Each year, TRB publishes approximately 40 volumes of the TRR Journal, containing more than 650 papers grouped by subject.
