TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board No. 1908 examines the use of a linear optimization model to maximize the safety benefits from highway improvements under specific budget constraints and types of crashes at signalized intersections with complete crash data. This volume of the TRR: Journal also explores the events leading to a sport utility vehicle rollover, as well as countermeasures for deer–vehicle crashes.
Individual TRR Journals, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes. Abstracts of papers that make up this TRR are available through TRB's Publication Index.
TRR Journals may also be purchased on an annual subscription basis. Each year, TRB publishes approximately 40 volumes of the TRR Journal, containing more than 650 papers grouped by subject.
