Finance, Economics, and Economic Development 2005
TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 1932 explores the replacement of declining fuel tax revenues in Oregon with fees based on vehicle miles traveled; variations in costs of highway investment compared to the Federal Highway Administration’s Highway Economic Requirements System; the merits of no-queue tolling, time-of-day pricing, and auto restraint policies; how to create public support for road pricing proposals; and more.
Individual TRR Journals, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes. Abstracts of papers that make up this TRR are available through TRB's Publication Index.
TRR Journals may also be purchased on an annual subscription basis. Each year, TRB publishes approximately 40 volumes of the TRR Journal, containing more than 650 papers grouped by subject.
