While papers addressing any relevant aspect of transportation research will be considered for the meeting, some committees are soliciting papers in specific subject areas to help potential authors identify topics for their papers.

Transportation Research Record 2007 Citation Impact Factor
Transportation Research Record (TRR) has received the 2007 Citation Impact Factor from Thomson Reuters Scientific. Paper authors are encouraged to take advantage of limited time access to hundreds of past TRR articles to cite these papers to enhance their research. The Transportation Research Board (TRB) 88th Annual Meeting will be held in Washington, D.C., at the Connecticut Avenue Collection hotels: Marriott Wardman Park, Omni Shoreham, and Hilton Washington.
Plan now to attend the TRB 88th Annual Meeting, an information-packed program that will attract more than 10,500 transportation professionals from around the world to Washington, D.C., January 11–15, 2009.
The TRB Annual Meeting program covers all transportation modes, with more than 3,000 presentations in nearly 600 sessions addressing topics of interest to all attendees—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. The spotlight theme for 2009 is Transportation, Energy, and Climate Change.
Look for meeting registration and hotel reservation information in early fall 2008. Registration enables access to the Interactive Program (available November 2008). You will be able to use the Interactive Program on the website to conduct searches by session title, paper title, keywords, author, and subject area to plan your personalized itinerary which includes meeting room names.
