Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP) Publications
|
The Strategic Highway Research Program was established by Congress in 1987 as a 5-year, $150-million research
program to improve the performance, durability, and safety of U.S. highways. The research was performed by independent
contractors and was targeted in four areas: asphalt, concrete and structures, highway operations, and engineering for long-term
pavement performance.
The research ended in 1993 and the reports reproduced here are the products of that research. The list of titles is organized by the four subject areas.
